Casatiello, cos'è?

Buona Pasqua a tutti. This is a Napoletano breakfast bread…which happens to have an egg baked into it. Following the tradition of a heavy and salty Easter Colazione, this is best eaten with salame, carciofi, and more boiled eggs. Quite possibly the weirdest thing I’ve encountered thus far in my adventures here.
